Might as well face it....

...... I'm addicted to prefolds!!!! It's the thing I never thought I'd say, but am happy to say it now!

See that on the left? It's a toddler size Green Mountain prefold with a preemie prefold inside it as a doubler. Pinning them is super easy, and it's actually easy to get a tight fit- but it doesn't really matter if you can't, because you can just use the cover to hold it on anyway.

And see this on the right? That's a Thirsties one-size cover over the prefold... there is NO BULK! Look how trim it is! Even under normal-type pants, you can hardly tell the baby is wearing cloth.

After almost 2 years of diapers, and saying, "I've tried everything but prefolds," I have finally found the love... and it's GOOD lovin'!!! ;) A cheap, wholesome-feeling way to use cloth diapers... and I can truly say I'm kickin' it old school!!!!

  2. You're back!!! And using PF's?!?! I can't believe it. Tell me more :0) Then contain N's super soaking? I tried them once on J and it was a disaster. Have you tried the new GroVia AIOs? I like them (but still use BG Organics 90% of the time).

  3. I love prefolds! I use them in pocket diapers, or with pins and covers like this. For N, I have to do a brown-edge GMD prefold WITH a preemie PF inside as a doubler. LOVE them! It's just really fun to use them occasionally.

Sarah! I haven't tried the GroVia AIOs... as you saw on FB, I have too many diapers! But maybe when I get rid of some of my fitteds I'll try a couple- I've been tempted! ;)
